A student at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, won a brand new Ford truck in the most dramatic of circumstances on November 4. Freshman Alex Tillinghast needed to make a layup, a free-throw, a three-pointer and a half-court shot, all inside 30 seconds, to win a 2014 Ford F-150 truck. And when he took three attempts to make a lay-up things did not look promising.
But that only served to make the finale, where he lands a half-court shot on the buzzer, all the more exciting. The contest was part of a basketball pre-season event at the college. This video shows the dramatic winning shot. Credit: YouTube/hopkinsrunner
