Herbert Nehrlich - Absolute Nudity

We had a rooster once, a tall Rhode Island Red.
He was majestic and he always ruled the roost.
He told his chickens when it's time for night night bed
His very presence meant a welcome laying boost.
And through the day he proudly stalked the busy yard,
would never fail to talk to one peculiar chick
to pluck some feathers from her body, wasn't hard.
And other chickens thought that one was surely sick.
But far from it, he plucked them, daily, one by one,
'til only bare skin showed, and boy, it was a sight!
He cautioned her to watch the rising morning sun
to not get burned by her, she was so hot and bright.

The neighbour's rooster asked him, Jesus, what the hell
you pullin' all these lovely feathers out of her?
He answered, buddy it's quite simple, let me tell
you what it feels like when you love her without fur!
I want her naked and by that I mean no feather,
no single hair or blemish of that chicken skin.
She'll be a queen to me in any kind of weather
without the separation of the feathers I am IN.
I liked that rooster mainly for his common sense.
His rationale was bona fide and aptly stated.
I didn't learn this from him by the chicken fence
but kindred tastes could mean that we're related.
