A dust mote
flying through the air
approached me
where I sat.
I entered it,
surprised to find
a world unto itself,
a world unending,
thought and action
living there as one,
'a hand in the place of a hand, '*
where timelessness reached into time
and becoming had merged in Being.
A wishing-vehicle I had,
to fly me to my whims.
My whims were wise,
they poured forth service
to the whole.
I saw myself in everyone,
and everyone in me,
and coming to my senses,
dwelt on how
to live that dream
upon this dust mote, Earth.
