Masiela Lusha - The Mind Speaks

2014-11-07 1 Dailymotion

Come, steer away from such fruitless appetite!
The window beckons with a shake of wind and leaves,
Inviting you to a friendly flight of air. Take this flight
And with it, empty me, for I'm filled with dreams!

Remind me of sensations of single smells
Of clovers and leaves and salt and people.
Remind me of weight- the varying weight of me.
Please, remind me as to how we exist.

I have forgotten my purpose beyond your endless trail of dreams.
Do not rob me of my muscle; do not wither me to pulp...
Please do not mask me as an image of our neighbor, the heart.

What good is it to have two hearts?
One seeks enough trouble for the both of us.
This happy air the heart feasts on,
Does little to fatten me.
I cannot live off of your heart's giving
It will weaken my walls of sense...
It will rob the very blood from me.

Come now, take my guidance,
And stop making me swallow this merry meal of stars-
Allow me to reintroduce you to your friendly companions
Busily touching and hearing and smiling far beyond outside.
Allow me to remind you what it is to exist... and with it,
To find means for 'fulfilling' such dreams!
