The days and nights I wandered,
Lost in the fog of not knowing
Aching with yearning,
For that everyday sort of love,
We take almost for granted, when we have it
Grieving friendless and alone, once we’ve lost it.
I hope those days and nights
Add up to something, one day
For if this journey was meaningless,
Then life itself will get a bad name.
