The soft lips speak silence
And here I hear everything,
Blessed with queer magnificence
That no other mortal voice can bring.
I have not heard a voice so sweet
Nor such words of melody;
Nothing can ever replace it,
Not any divine company.
There is none to miss such a glance
Hence I am nothing different at all,
To stand by her, see and romance-
Delaying Duty's desperate call.
What eyes are these like divinity
Akin to a fiction true;
I read every page in captivity,
Yet, these seem purely new.
I donot know what poets and kings
Regard as fine and flawless art;
But this I know my heart sings
Even after I depart...
Still carrying the lovely lily-image
Of the beautiful girl, her lips and eyes
-That fiction portray and silence says-
To store in a place where nothing dies...
