Obed dela Cruz - Delicacy Of Life

2014-11-10 1 Dailymotion

I found myself enjoying wormwood’s bitterness
Thinking that it is the sweetest life can give me.
For too long I partook the bread of dire falseness
Knowing falsely that I ate life’s delicacy.

In the past, I have always been forced to digest
The rotten crops of my wasted strength and labor
Without even noticing that I’m greatly stressed
And should question if these things should I just ignore.

But now I understood what is sweet and bitter
And that I was just drunk throughout the past sour years.
The gladness I now feel I shall keep forever,
For never shall I again swallow my own tears.
