Chile: Women's groups demand comprehensive abortion bill

According to official figures, 1 in 3 women in Chile experience sexual or physical violence. Meanwhile, in 17% of maternal deaths in the country were the result of clandestine abortions. In one case, an underage girl became pregnant as a result of a rape and was not allowed to have a legal abortion.
