Today's program looks at student activism, which is experiencing a new upsurge worldwide. We start in Brazil, where in 12 years of Workers' Party governments, during which 18 new federal universities have been created, but one stands out ... the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA), in which 45% of the student body hails from 10 different Latin American countries. Then its on to Spain, where cutbacks in the education budget and hikes in tuition fees are being fought by the student movement.
