Caroline asks what is going on. Ivy covers for Rick. Ridge is at Forrester Creations and he thinks back to the first time he and Caroline drew together. Carter comes in telling Ridge he is headed out and invites Ridge to go with him. Carter offers to hang out - Carter mentions Ridge and Katie breaking up. Carter says he needs a woman in his life. Carter talks about Maya and how Rick went back to Caroline. Caroline is clueless and buys Rick's cover story. Carter asks Ridge what shirt looks best. Ridge says he is mostly killing time. Carter ask if Ridge is looking forward to working with Caroline. Ridge says he is. Carter and Ridge talk about Caroline/Rick and Maya. Ridge says maybe he was wrong about Rick - he came to his senses. Rick comes home and Caroline tries to seduce him. Carter asks if Ridge is glad Caroline and Rick are back together. Ridge says he is. Ridge says there are no issues anymore. Carter questions if Rick is really over it.Ridge says Rick is really stepping up and giving Caroline the attention she deserves. Rick uses the excuse that he is too tired for sex. Caroline wants to have a baby - Rick makes excuses. Ridge calls what he and Caroline had special but, its over. Ridge says that he only wants Caroline to be happy. Caroline tries to persuade Rick on why they should have a baby - he rejects her. Both Rick and Caroline are sad and heartbroken.
