China Celac Forum Begins in Beijing

In Beijing Thursday, the first ministerial meeting of the Forum of China and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) got underway.
Chinese President Xi Jinping played host to various world leaders including the presidents of Costa Rica, Ecuador, Venezuela, and the Bahamas Prime Minister as they attended the opening ceremony of the two-day meeting at the Great Hall of the People in downtown Beijing.
Established in December 2011 in Caracas, Venezuela, CELAC groups 33 countries, Latin American and Caribbean. teleSUR
