Guatemala: Communities accuse TNCs of exploiting their resources

In Guatemala, movements of resistance continue to accuse transnationals with excessive exploitation of their communities' natural resources. In the eastern department of Zacapa, the population has complained of companies extracting jade without having previously consulted with the community and without official permits.
