Mexico: Hundreds of agricultural workers arrested in protests

Two hundred agricultural day laborers have been arrested in the northern Mexican border state of Baja California in protests demanding higher pay and better working conditions. The workers are demanding US$20 a day, twice what they currently earn. They blocked the only highway leading to the United States, which resulted in the police attack. teleSUR
