Colombia: Massive march for peace underway in Bogota

Tens of thousands of demonstrators are participating in a massive march in support of the Colombian peace process. President Juan Manuel Santos was on hand earlier in the day. Numerous social, labor and indigenous organizations are participating, demanding that the government accept the rebel proposal of a bilateral cease fire in the hostilities and calling for peace with justice. Today, April 9, is also the 67th anniversary of the death of Liberal Party leader Jorge Elecer Gaitan. Many feel that had Gaitan, an advocate of social justice, not been assassinated, the country might have been spared the five decade civil war. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota.
