Police arrested a 29 year old woman in Osaka for harassment after she used a public phone to call her ex-boyfriend over 10,000 times.
The couple dated and then broke up over 10 years ago, but for unexplained reasons the woman suddenly felt the burning urge to speak to her ex again. So she began calling him at his old office number. Please note this was his office number from 10 years ago.
The unfortunate schmuck manning the ex-boyfriend’s desk now started receiving silent phone calls and continued receiving them throughout the day. The company reported the strange silent calls to the police who traced one of the many calls to a public payphone.
When police went to the payphone, the woman was still inside.
The woman promised to stop calling the company after police told her that her ex no longer worked there.
