Plane crash landing: Delta flight skids off runway during snowstorm at LaGuardia

A Delta Air Lines flight slid off the runway while landing at LaGuardia Airport in New York City during a snowstorm on Thursday.

According to Reuters, there were 125 passengers and five crew aboard the MD-80 plane, which had departed from Atlanta and was scheduled to land at LaGuardia at 11 a.m.

Officials reported no serious injuries. Photographs posted to social media showed passengers exiting Delta Flight 1086 from emergency exits and slides.

Snow covers the plane runway and the plane's nose appears smashed into a fence.
