Ghostbusters 3: Misogynists pan Ghostbusters reboot for all-female cast choice

The calendar says January 2015, right? Just checking, because after director Paul Feig tweeted his cast selection for a 21st century remake of the crazy funny 1984 hit movie, the neanderthals have been dragging their knuckles all over the internet, posting how crappy it is that women are going to be driving Ecto-1.

Personally, I don't get it. These ladies have what it takes to fill the roles that Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson — namely that they've all done sketch comedy on Saturday Night Live. Plus, like I said, it's 2015 already folks. Black Widow and Wonder Woman are set to get summertime moviegoers going this year, so we know the studios are banking on girl-power.

Not to mention, it's simply about frikkin' time the ladies stepped out and got as over-the-top in this genre as the fellas have been for years.

So suck it up, twerps. Get used to it. And really, unlike the total white-wash jobs that have been going on in some other flicks I won't mention, I don't mind the re-gender-fication Hollywood is embarking in this case one bit.
