Official Quakewiki Video - Quake - Aftershock for Quake - Fun Fragging

I think Zack Hamm has a very deranged idea of "Fun". This level is actually quite dull, having a Single Player mode without Monsters (Similar to Crypt'O'Death, this is probably just designed to be a Multiplayer level, but saying yes to Single Player means that it has to be a Single Player level as well).

Thinking of this level as a Deathmatch based arena, this level doesn't become more enjoyable. We only have three weapons. The Nailgun tends to fall out of the map, meaning we only have a Double-Barrelled Shotgun (which isn't that powerful in this open arena) and a Rocket Launcher (which of course will dominate against the players with absolutely nothing). Basically, making it to the top of the map is rewarding enough that you will be able to ensure complete domination of this map due to a Red Armor and good weaponry.

There isn't much to this map, it is made up of three sections. The bottom section has ammo for the weapons found on the middle section. The upper section is very small and seems to just be a quick place to get the stuff to dominate the level. Overall, there is going to be a bunch of fire fighting with no real rest period, but all of the combat is going to be weak besides for the dominant player mentioned earlier.

All spawn locations in multiplayer are located in the middle section. If this doesn't suggest easy spawn killing, nothing does. Two of the players will be spawning with the subpar weaponry, while two will have nothing but the Shotgun, which definitely is unfair.

Overall, this level is very boring and uninteresting. There is little to no balance existing in this level, while Single Player has no enemies or interesting features to keep your interest. I think "Reason for Disconnection" might have been a better title, as everybody would probably get off the server if this map came up.
