Lyndsey Thomas is all smiles now as she poses with her newborn baby girl, named Ferne, on her twitter profile. But three weeks ago it was a different story.
The 34 year old former marketer found herself at Whittington Hospital on May 16 inducing labor because she was 10 days overdue. Doctors said it could be up to 24 hours before the contractions came with enough frequency to give birth, and so with that much time to wait before Ferne's debut, Lyndsey decided to tweet the entire process.
She posted nearly 50 updates to her twitter account over the course of almost 12 hours (and tastefully curtailed broadcasting anything not kid-friendly, we may add.)
So now, Baby Ferne's first birthday has been uploaded to the internet for the world to see forever. We guess we can say the baby-book has now been 'Sherlocked' by social media, right?
