Man shot dead at Manila City Hall underpass

MANILA -- A man was shot dead in the pedestrian underpass near Manila City Hall Thursday morning.

The victim, who wore a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt, has yet to be identified. His assailant also managed to escape.

Two empty bullet shells were recovered from the scene.

Police have yet to determine the motive behind the killing, which shocked those passing by the area during the morning rush hour. -- report from Noel Alamar, dzMM
