A 42-year-old woman from Mumbai's suburban Bandra was booked for alleged drunk driving after she tried to escape the alcohol test and sped away in an inebriated state. The woman, Shivani Bali, a resident of Worli in South Mumbai, was intercepted near Bandra Reclamation. She was asked to get out of the car. The woman, however, refused to comply and instead locked herself inside her car. After much effort, the police had to finally break the car's window to get the woman out. According to police, the woman even tried to escape from the spot. She was, however, taken to the police station and booked for drunken driving.
