Mac is taking inspiration from the late Marilyn Monroe to release a new line of Cosmetics come this October.

The collection, will be thirty different pieces ranging anywhere from $15 to $27, quite the budget friendly product if it makes you look like Marilyn.

And it's not only Mac who is taking cues from the late beauty—Michelle Williams hit the big screen as the icon herself in my week with Marilyn, and we've seen photo shoots galore with current a-listers donning Monroe's legendary looks. Even, the new hit show Smash is bringing Marilyn's legacy to the small screen.

And while I can't wait for the Marilyn collection to hit stores- it's no secret that Mac Cosmetics loves a good collaboration—they recently teamed up with Nicki Minaj to create a Viva Glam lipstick that supports AIDS prevention and we can't forget Lady Gaga's wild line for the brand and even Iris Apfel lent her expertise to create a collection that was quite the rare-bird.

Channeling Marilyn's look is ever so popular and MAC's Senior BP told the Hollywood Reporter that her look not only defined a generation, but is also relevant today—and that couldn't be any more true.
