LEGO Movie Videogame Announced (Escapist News Now)

Warner Bros. and TT Games have announced the LEGO Movie Videogame.

Yes they are making a corresponding game to go with the feature film that will be hitting theaters in 2014 which stars Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman and more. And of course to go along with it will also be LEGO movie building sets.

The video game puts you in the role of Emmet, an average LEGO person who is mistakenly identified, "as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world." You'll go on a quest to stop an evil tyrant, something which Emmet is clearly not prepared for.

According to the press release you'll, "collect and use LEGO instruction pages to build construction sets or harness the awesome power of the Master Builders to virtually build extraordinary LEGO creations along the way." There will be 90 characters from the film in the game along with 15 levels.
