28,000 years later: Scientists aim to clone woolly mammoth

A group of researchers led by Hawing Woo-Suk, known for successfully cloning the first dog and several coyotes, began extracting DNA from the leg of a well-preserved woolly mammoth in North-Eastern Federal University in Yakutsk.
