Nitish Kumar escalates fight with Modi

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Lalu Yadav will be addressing a press conference tomorrow (August 11) to launch a signature campaign 'shabd wapasi' against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'DNA' remark. "Inspite of our repeated pleas, Modiji hasn't retracted his derogatory remarks on our DNA. We're going to launch a ' shabd wapasi' campaign against him," tweeted Nitish. "50 lakh people frm Bihar will be a part of 'shabdwapasi' signature campaign. We will send samples for DNA test to Modiji," Nitish Kumar said. Prime Minister Modi, while attacking Nitish Kumar at a rally in Muzaffarpur on July 25, had said that it seemed that there was "some problem with Nitish Kumar's DNA", referring to his constant change of political allegiance. Nitish later described the DNA remark as an "insult" to people of Bihar.First phase of 'shabdwapasi' campaign will be completed with 'Swabhimaan rally' which will be held at Patna's Gandhi Maidan on Augsut 29," Nitish Kumar tweeted.
