Ecuador: Opposition Protesters Attack Police

As part of their much-proclaimed general strike, Ecuadoran right-wing opposition protesters in Quito attacked riot police yesterday with Molotov cocktails, rocks, bottles, and makeshift weapons. However, thousands of government supporters, including many indigenous activists, spontaneously took to the streets to defend President Rafael Correa's Citizens' Revolution.
