Liow Tiong Lai replaces Soi Lek as MCA president

Liow Tiong Lai has been elected MCA president, replacing Chua Soi Lek, while Wee Ka Siong takes the deputy president post.

Liow narrowly defeated Gan Ping Sieu with 1,186 votes against 1,000, while former president Ong Tee Keat bagged only 160 votes.
