Initially, this game gave plenty of steam users trouble in authenticating the activation key. After many moons of sitting in the library gathering the ire of frustrated buyers; CAPCOM finally resolved the issue. Normally one would expect the people who sold a product to resolve whatever problems that may arise but Steam refused to take responsibility which is a major let down to many Steam users. Instead we are told that it's CAPCOM's problem. Actually it became the buyers' problem no matter where the source of the keys came from. We paid good money and we expect stuff to work. The posture of pushing the blame away also pushes buyers away. A fiasco like this gives buyers a reason to trust pirated sources more than legitimate vendors.
I believe somewhere along the distribution line is where the problem lies and it rests squarely in the middle of a triangle of 3 interconnected parties; CAPCOM, SecuRom and Steam. Which is to say right smack in the middle; the authenticating server. Adding a 2nd layer of protection in addition to Steam's account protection is rather redundant. If the intention is to provide extra protection to buyers in the event that their users' Steam account is compromised then it behooves them to ensure all relevant parties are duly and accurately updated. In other words, all relevant parties must co-ordinate and co-operate with each other instead of passing the buck around. Remember, we lined your pockets. Screw with us and we'll take our business elsewhere.

Anyway, problem resolved and it's game on. So lets talk about the game. First off, the cutcscenes are very well made using the game engine Unreal even though it's an old title relased in 2010. I'm very happy with the image quality of the cutscenes, the camera angles and flybys. Voice acting is good but flight control takes getting used to with inverted mouse control. Major drawbacks are checkpoints & 1 autosave.
