Argentina: Buenos Aires Health Care Spending Cuts Hit Poor

The Buenos Aires city government, under right-wing mayor and presidential candidate Mauricio Macri, is cutting back on public spending. Health care spending was cut in 2015 from 23% to 18% of the city budget, which will affect the poorest strata of the population, as those with money can afford private hospitals.
