Close Call With Whyalla Lightning Strike

Whyalla was hit by a severe storm for the second day in a row on Wednesday, November 4. The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe thunderstorm warning for heavy rainfall, flash flooding, large hailstones and destructive wind gusts for areas including Whyalla, Renmark, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Clare, Murray Bridge, Leigh Creek and Moomba.
