Ne një kohe kur bllokadat ne veri te vendit ne pjesën me te madhe te tyre mbeten te palëvizura për shkak te rezistencës qe tubuesit serbe po i bëjnë trupave te KFOR-it, dy makina te misionit ndërkombëtar janë sulmuar nga një grup serbesh ne veri te Mitrovicës.
Sipas policisë se Kosovës, ngjarja ka ndodhur mbrëmjen e te dielës, kur një grup prej pese personash kane goditur me gurë makinat e KFOR-it duke i thyer xhamat dhe deformuar kofanon. Nga sulmi nuk ka patur te lënduar. Ndërkohë, ne veri te vendit situata mbetet e tensionuar, pasi trupat e KFOR-it ndodhen pranë barrikadave ne pritje te marrjes se urdhrave për rifillimin e operacioneve. Ndërkohë ne mesdite janë vërejtur edhe patrullime nga ajri te helikopterëve te KFOR. Ndonëse prej javësh misioni ndërkombëtar ka nisur aksionet për largimin e pengesave, qarkullimi ne veri si për mallrat ashtu edhe për njerëzit është ende i pamundur.
