Nen titullin "Pese fytyrat e modernitetit" vjen ne shqip nje nga librat me te njohur mbi filologjinë dhe artin, ai i profesorit te letërsisë se krahasuar, rumunit Matei Calinescu. I përkthyer nga studiuesi i njohur Gezim Qendro, libri konsiderohet si mjaft i dobishem dhe sqarues, duke prezantuar një analize te ideve estetike qe drejtuan krijimtarinë letrare gjate 150 viteve te fundit. Ne gjinine e librave studimore vjen "Arkitektura Sizmike" e autorit Mentor Llunji, ndërsa Iljaz Spahiu sjell fjalorin e gjuhes se perditshme "Shqip-Kinezisht" e anasjelltas. Per fëmijët përkthehen ne shqip seria prej tre librash e Xheronimo Stilton, pseudonim i shkrimtares italiane per fëmije Elisabeta Dami.
