Turkish Airlines flight from New York City to Turkey is diverted at Canadian airport over bomb threat
The plane was diverted to Halifax Stanfield International Airport
A Twitter account for the airport said 256 passengers had been on Flight 2
It also tweeted that the plane made a safe landing
The RCMP in Nova Scotia said it would not comment on the details of the bomb threat and was looking to identify the person or persons responsible
