Disa prej ish-themeluesve te Partisë Demokratike ne zonën e Laprakes ne kryeqytet i janë bashkuar Partisë Socialiste. Gjate një takimi me kryesocialistin Edi Rama banoret e kesaj lagjeje kane theksuar nevojën e ndryshimit te qeverisjes dhe mbështetjen Për Programin e Rilindjes.
Nga ana e tij kryetari i PS Edi Rama ka theksuar se ky akt është emancipues pasi tregon se njerëzit nuk duhet te lidhen verbërisht pas partive, por janë këto te fundit qe duhet tu shërbejnë qytetareve. Sipas Rames është e rëndësishme te kapërcehen ndasitë qe ka krijuar politika konfliktuale ne vitet e fundit.
