My thoughts on cyclists and motorists wilfully running stop signs, crossings, red lights and open streetcar doors...

They should both be fined, and motorists should lose their license. If they get hurt, seriously injured or killed (or kill somebody, in the case of hitting/running over somebody with their vehicle, get charged for murder/assault with a deadly weapon), then there's no going back or undoing the consequences that likely will result from getting caught.
