SLAMABAD: Severe jolts of earthquake have been felt in several cities of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir, TV, reported on Sunday.
The cities shaken by the earthquake include Jehlum, Lodhran, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Mandi Bahaud Din, DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Multan, Jhang, Khanewal, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Chishtian, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Sialkot, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Abbottabad, Swat, Charsadda, Attock, Skardu, Battagram, Paarchinar, Mansehra, Hangu, Orakzai Agency and Malakand division.
The shakes were also felt in areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, North Waziristan and Murree.
The intense earthquake tremors that continued for at least 80 to 90 seconds frightened people to rush out of their homes and offices in different cities.
