Can Oprah save Weight Watchers with new TV spot?

Oprah Winfrey is certainly no media lightweight but give her time.
The former talk show queen, who gave the embattled Weight Watchers diet company a shot in the arm in October when she bought a 10 percent stake in it, made her debut as a spokesperson during a recently released 60-second TV spot.
"Are you ready?
Let's do this together," Winfrey tells viewers in the spot, entitled "Why I joined Weight Watchers."
If the 61-year-old media mogul, who has very publicly battled a weight problem, looked a little thinner, she is.
Winfrey has lost more than 20 pounds since starting on Weight Watchers in August.
It has been marginalized in the past several years as people have moved away from specialized diets toward a more healthy, active lifestyles.
As a result, membership and revenue have tumbled.
