Residents' desperate bid to stop floodwaters in Peebles

People in Peebles made a desperate bid to shore up their flood defences and stop water getting through.
They tried to stem the flow with barriers and bags but could not stop the water getting through a gap in a wall.
Power cuts, widespread flooding and landslips have been reported as Storm Frank continues to batter Scotland.
