Super Mario Sunshine - Gameplay Walkthrough - Part 19 - Delfino Plaza Shine Sprites

This is part 19 of my Super Mario Sunshine gameplay walkthrough for the Nintendo Gamecube! In this part, we collect the 10 Shine Sprites that hasnt been collected, throughout Delfino Plaza. Here are the locations and things you need to get these shine sprites:\r

1) Inside a pipe on an island northeast of the lighthouse with a level where you collect 8 red coins. \r
Required: Yoshi is needed for this, as the pipe is covered by a force field and is extremely difficult to get to.\r
\r
2) Go back to the same island northeast of the lighthouse (where the entrance to Gelato Beach is). You will see a Yellow Bird, unlike any other color birds you have seen around through the game. This bird contains a Shine Sprite. All you need to do is squirt it until the Shine Sprite appears.\r
\r
3) Inside a Pipe behind the lighthouse, there is a level that has a Shine Sprite. Shine Sprite is pretty easy to get. Just requires timing when it comes to jumping.\r
\r
4) On top of the Lighthouse, there is a breakable Stone. Ground-Pound it!\r
Required: Rocket Nozzle\r

5) Inside the building, where the Yoshi eggs sits. \r
Required: Turbo Nozzle; Turbo Dash!\r
\r
6)Inside a building with the broken window bar. Head slightly northwest of the Pianta Statue and talk to the Pianta sitting on top of the roof.\r
Required: 1 Coin\r
\r
7) Inside the building left of the Shine Gate. Head inside and talk to the Pianta. Smash all the crates within 30 seconds.\r
\r
8) Bell Tower 1. Rocket Jump to the Bell, on top of the building where the Yoshi eggs rests. Squirt the Bell until the graffiti is cleaned off and a Shine Sprite will appear. Use the Manhole that will get you to the Shine Sprite.\r
Required: Rocket Nozzle\r

9) Bell Tower 2. Head right of the Pianta Statue and Rocket jump to the bell. If you can tell, this bell is slightly bigger than the other bell, as it takes longer to clean the graffiti off. The Shine Sprite will appears and you need to Rocket jump to get it.\r
Required: Rocket Nozzle\r

10) The Shine Gate. Head for the Shine Gate and clean off the Shine Sprite and a Shine Sprite will appear. Rocket Jump on top of the Shine Gate and Rocket Jump again in the middle to get the shine sprite.\r
Required: Rocket Nozzle\r

Once done, you will have all the Shine Sprites for Delfino Plaza.\r
