Kos Battle: Despite protests Greece will go ahead with planned refugee centers

2016-02-16 21 Dailymotion

Riot police have used tear gas on protesters on the Greek island of Kos.
Locals were rallying against the construction of a refugee registration center for newly arrived migrants. Athens has promised to make sure all five of the planned refugee centers are up and running this week. Greece is now operating under a three month ultimatum from the EU - to deal with the migrants and impose better border controls. If it fails to comply in time, Athens could face a temporary exclusion from the Schengen free travel zone.
