Minnie The Moocher Cab Calloway Cover by TJR

Minnie The Moocher was first recorded by Cab Calloway back in 1931 and was written by Cab Calloway & Irving Mills. My first introduction to the song was in the Blues Brothers Movie starring Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi in 1980, and then later in the amazing 1932 Betty Boop Cartoon of the same name. \r

Over the years there have been a lot of different recorded versions of this song (many of them recorded by Calloway) with different lyrics. For my version I looked at all the different lyrics that have been used in the past, and arranged them in the order that that I thought told the most linear story.
