27 Indian fishermen detained by Sri Lankan Navy

Rameswaram, Mar 13 (ANI): Twenty seven Indian fishermen were apprehended and four boats were seized by the Sri Lankan Navy near Gulf of Mannar in early morning hours on Sunday. The Navy personnel arrested the fishermen on charges of crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line and fishing in their territory. This is the fourth detention of Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan navy on the charges of fishing on their waters.
