Welcome back to ClevverMusic, your home for "Whats Up With Gaga?" brought to you of course from me, Misty Monster. Lady Gagas Twitter account is still temporarily shut down and as of today we are exactly one month away from her first "ARTPOP" single. As you know, she recently announced online the first single will come August 19th with the full album November 11th. Much speculation has been done by Little Monster fans regarding what the first single will actually be, and it seems Gaga is still working on something. Mother Monster was seen going to a recording studio in Burbank, California more than once this week. Popular theories for the single right now include a song called "The Applause", "Sex Dreams" or "TEA" which Gagas pal Tara Savelo sneakily tweeted about on July 4th. And also exciting news, Gaga was rumored to be spotted shooting a music video on set at Paramount Pictures here in LA this week on July 17. We cant confirm details on it, but we do know shes in LA preparing for some sort of performance. Could that something be the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards? Gaga has a long relationship with the VMAs, shocking the world with her "Paparazzi" performance in 2010 and making history when she opened the show as alter ego Jo Calderone in 2011. Not to mention shes racked up 13 Moonmen so far.Its no secret that Gaga was blatantly missing and snubbed from last years 2012 VMAs, not nominated, presenting nor performing, so is this going to be her big year? We think so. Due to the fact that her first single drops August 19th and the award show is August 25th, that presents the perfect time to debut the single live for the world. Weve heard rumblings that ARTPOP is going to be a rising of the Phoenix for Gaga, so can we expect bird feathers and fire? On Wikipedia on the page titled "2013 MTV Video Music Awards" it claims Britney Spears will introduce the "Video of the Year" award as well as present Lady Gagas performance of "Sex Dreams". So if Wikipedia is right Gaga will close this years show—and they claim the first single is "Sex Dreams"! Is that what she was creating at Paramount Studios? So many questions to still be answered.
