Virbhadra Singh meets relatives of missing youths

Loti Village (Shimla), May 14 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Saturday visited the flood-affected Lotti village and met the relatives of four Punjabi youth, who were washed away in flood. The chief minister also inspected the site and directed Shimla Deputy Commissioner Rohan Chand Thakur to explore the possibilities of using excavators to dig up the ‘khad’ full of debris. He said the operation will continue. The chief minister said the state government is trying hard to trace the missing youth and announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh for the kin of the deceased.
