Guwahati/Trivandrum/New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): D-day for the five poll bound states has finally arrived. Ahead of the counting of votes, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) leader Ajmal Badruddin remained hopeful of its party's victory in Assam. Former crickter turned politician S Sreesanth also expressed hope of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) winning the elections in Kerala, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was indeed an icon for youth. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Nasim Zaidi on the other hand thanked the voters for a peaceful turnout thereby mentioning the challenges faced by the states individually.
