'Touched By The Warmth', Says PM Modi After Meeting Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent over an hour at his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif's ancestral home near Lahore on Friday evening after springing a massive surprise in a tweet announcing that he would "drop by" on his way back to Delhi from Kabul.

Pakistan said the meeting was held amid immense goodwill in very cordial atmosphere.

"The PM Modi-Pak PM Nawaz Sharif meeting was held in very cordial atmosphere... It has been decided there will be greater interaction, people to people contact, to create an environment of goodwill," said Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry
