Social media has hosted the unraveling of many careers, and that of Michael Folk, a member of West Virginia House of Delegates and a United Airlines pilot, is at risk of being among them.

Social media has hosted the unraveling of many careers, and that of Michael Folk, a member of West Virginia House of Delegates and a United Airlines pilot, is at risk of being among them.
On Friday, apparently upset that there would be no charges filed in connection to the Hillary Clinton email incident, Folk tweeted, “Hillary Clinton, you should be tried for treason, murder, and crimes against the US Constitution... then hung on the Mall in Washington, DC."
That post has since been deleted, but Folk did defend it shortly after the message began to spread, according to CNET.
He told the Charleston Gazette-Mail, “What I called for is for her to be tried and the maximum penalty for treason is death. Technically it's not death by hanging..."
In the days since, United Airlines has launched an investigation into the comment, and the West Virginia Democratic Party has called for Folk’s resignation, notes CBS News.
