Notes: The Jaguars showed improvement on offense but fell to 31st and second to last in the league in points allowed in 2015. Blake Bortles returns under center after a productive improved season. His backup has experience in Chad Henne who enters his ninth year in the league. Henne has started 54 regular season games but saw no action in 2015. Max Wittek transferred to Hawaii from USC and enters his rookie year looking to make the Jaguars roster and will see work. Brandon Allen a rookie out of Arkansas is also in camp.

The Jets resigned 2015 starter Ryan Fitzpatrick to a one year contract. He may see a series or two with the first string. Geno Smith had been relegated to a backup as he enters his fourth year with the team. He has started 29 NFL regular season games and saw work in one game last year. Bryce Petty was a highly touted draft pick last year out of Baylor and saw no regular season work in his rookie campaign in 2015. Former Penn St quarterback Christian Hackenberg in his rookie season is looking to make the New York Jets roster. New York finished with the fourth best defense in the league while improving the offense to 10th best.
