Fatal motorcycle accident in Belarus caught on camera - TomoNews

POLOTSK, BELARUS — Not much is known of about this horrific, fatal motorcycle accident, but graphic video of it has gone viral.

The video, shot by a motorcyclist on the side of the road, caught the moment when an Audi driver in Polotsk, Belarus, made a left-hand turn into another motorcyclist.

The cameraman, whose shadow can be seen in the video, carrying a passenger on the back of their motorcycle, was stopped at a T intersection. The cameraman checks traffic looking left and right to reveal a red Audi sedan approaching from the right. As the sedan moves to turn left, a red motorcycle also carrying a passenger speeds down the road from the left.

While the sedan wasn’t completely into the motorcyclist’s lane, it was enough for the biker to slam into the front of the car, completely obliterating the bike.

Video description said that the Audi driver was a 61-year-old and the motorcyclist involved in the collision was a 19-year-old male with a 17-year-old female passenger. Both the 19- and 17-year-olds were taken to the hospital, where the female died the following day.
