A policeman was killed and two people were injured on Friday (October 08) after suspected militants attacked a police post in Indian Kashmir's Shopian district.
Local television reports said an officer was killed while another was injured. A civilian was also wounded in the incident.
The injured were taken to the Army's Base Hospital.
A man hunt was launched to find the suspected militants.
